Nick Cannon had his and Mariah Carey's 8-week-old twin babies on his mind at the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan opening on Tuesday night. "My son is a tough guy," he told us of Moroccan Scott. "He doesn't cry, he's already got muscles, so Moroccan was a perfect name for him." He seemed to be comparing his daughter, Monroe, to his wife. "Monroe's a diva. She always has to get her way, and she loves being held," he said.

Nick Cannon Sends Mariah Carey's Puppies to the Doghouse
New mom Mariah Carey has been busy nesting with her nearly 8-week-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, but she'll have to wait to spend time with the other twins – the furry ones – she welcomed right before 'Roc and 'Roe arrived.

It turns out that Jill E. Beans and Squeaky, the two dogs born to Carey's Jack Russell terrier Cha Cha in February, have joined their mother, along with Jack Russells Dolomite, Jay Jay and Jackie Lambchops, in the doghouse.

"I put the dogs outside!" Cannon told PEOPLE in New York on Tuesday. "My wife still has a soft spot for the dogs – I think they should go outside."

In fact, the babies haven't met Carey's beloved pups at all.

"The dogs don't even know that there are babies around yet," Cannon said. "I built this really big doghouse outside, like their own house, so they don't have to come inside my house."

It's understandable that Cannon would be so protective. The twins are just learning to smile and even showing a little personality – and the new dad wants to treasure every moment.

"Right now it's just a bonding time," he said. "Just holding them skin-to-skin. I can't wait for the activities, but right now, it's just really the nurturing process."

Carey wants 'tasteful' kid pix
Mariah Carey is shopping shots of her newborn twins, Moroccan Scott and Monroe, but the pop star will have trouble getting the millions she initially wanted for them, sources say.

Multiple mags including People and OK! are jockeying for the photos of the 7-week-old twin boy and girl, which will likely fetch a more modest $200,000.

But sources close to Carey and husband, "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon, say the couple is more concerned with how tastefully the shots are presented than any giant price tag.

"Mariah and Nick are more concerned with doing the right thing than going to the highest bidder," said a source close to the couple. "They're talking to a number of publications about doing it in the best and most tasteful way. Nick has said on radio he doesn't feel entirely comfortable selling pictures of his children. But the first picture remains very valuable to the paparazzi."

Carey has already landed a few covers with her long wished-for pregnancy. She did a "My Baby Miracle" interview with Us Weekly in November. She then posed naked while pregnant on the cover of Life & Style in April, prompting Cannon to joke on his radio show, "My children are going to have to see these pictures . . . It's a little weird."

The twins were born in an LA hospital on April 30 but have not yet been seen in public. "She is still deciding when and if she's going to [do the pictures]," said a rep for Carey. "She is enjoying being a mom, and there's no rush. It's not about the money."

Sources say Carey had hoped at first to get much more for the photos, possibly rivaling the most expensive of all time. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got a reported $14 million for Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in 2008, although it went to charity.

But, "There's not much movement going on right now," said a source. "Everyone wants them, and everyone is putting in offers. But times and budgets have changed from the Brangie baby years."

Sony Music: Doug Morris Arrives July 5th, L.A. Reid Follows
Doug Morris won’t officially take over at Sony Music until July 5th even though his contract says July 1st. This has to do with prior commitments for the July 4th vacation. Then, just as I told you on March 16th, L.A. Reid follows and joins Morris to run Epic Records. Right now Reid off with the “X Factor” crew judging contestants. Meanwhile, elsewhere at Sony, Peter Edge is expected to run the RCA end of things, while Tom Corson still presides at the company. Basically, Universal and Sony have swapped staffs, with RCA-J-Arista’s Larry Jackson having already moved to Interscope. What fun! Artists will go back and forth. It’s expected that Mariah Carey, upon releasing her last album at Universal, will head back to Sony with Reid. There, she can rejoin her old catalog, Confusing? Sure. That’s why we love it! And meanwhile, Sony has the lead in the race between the two companies with Adele being the hit of the year. And yes, maybe, Sylvia Rhone will turn up somewhere at Sony after leaving Universal Motown recently. It’s all in the game, as Tommy Edwards once put it so succinctly. Meanwhile, no one says a word about Rick Rubin.

At this year's Licensing International Expo, celebrities (and their representatives) are actively courting licensees.
For the first time ever, powerhouse talent agencies are exhibiting. Case in point: both Creative Artists Agency and William Morris Endeavor historically attended the show to take meetings with licensees and potential licensees but are now full-fledged exhibitors. By visiting the CAA booth, you can pick up its licensing booking guide. A quick flip through it will show you that a wide range of celebrities/athletes, including Andre Agassi/Stefanie Graf (I think they come as a pair), Carmelo Anthony, Carrie Ann Inaba, Carrie Underwood, Chelsea Handler, David Beckham, Drew Barrymore, Magic Johnson, Eva Mendes, Jamie Oliver, the Jonas Brothers, Kelly Ripa, Mariah Carey, Olivia Munn, Shania Twain, Shaun White, and many others are interested in discussing licensing opportunities.

In some cases, the book even identifies the potential opportunities. For example, Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks is interested in men's grooming and health and beauty; "Dancing With the Stars'" Carrie Ann Inaba is interested in eyelashes; talk-show host Chelsea Handler is interested in apparel and greeting cards; actress Eva Mendes is interested in home decor, fragrances and decorative wall art; pop star Mariah Carey is interested in infant/toddler apparel.

The collection is a flanker effort to Carey’s Lollipop Bling trio, which launched last July as a strategic partnership with Elizabeth Arden Inc. and Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of Topps Co. Inc. That partnership has since ended. Carey has been launching scents with Arden since 2007. Each scent in the new collection — Inseparable, Never Forget You and Vision of Love — is named for a Carey hit.

"Mariah is always reinterpreting and mixing her music, keeping her brand relevant,” said Marcy Fisher, vice president, North America fragrance marketing at Elizabeth Arden. “She wanted to have the same effect with her fragrances, so she decided with this project to approach it from that perspective."

Inseparable, in a pink bottle with Carey’s signature butterfly, has notes of raspberry, mango, pear, jasmine and orange flower; Never Forget You, in an orange-tinted version, features notes of jelly beans and golden peony, and Vision of Love’s notes include French macaroon and purple jasmine. It is in a purple bottle.

"The fun notes are intended to demonstrate that fragrance shouldn’t be so serious," said Fisher of the playful notes like jelly beans and macaroon.

Clement Gavarry of International Flavors & Fragrances developed Inseparable, while Givaudan’s Claude Dir and Marypierre Julien did Vision of Love and Never Forget You. Each eau de parfum is one ounce and will retail for $35, exactly the same pricing as Honey, Mine Again and Ribbon, the three scents in the Lollipop Bling trio.

The scent trio will be carried at about 2,300 department store doors, and will be supported with national advertising this fall, as well as with a digital and in-store campaign, which will be rolled out at launch.

"Mariah's fans really love the digital aspects of her projects, so that will be a focus,” said Fisher." Also, the bright colors of the bottles really pop on counter, so we’re planning an in-store presentation designed to emphasize that.” Vials on card and scented stickers will be among the vehicles used for sampling, she said.

While Fisher declined to comment on projected sales for the trio, industry sources estimated that they could generate retail sales of $8 million to $10 million combined.

Damizza's "Guilty by Association" is coming out!

After a long delay, Damizza's "Guilty by Association" is finally coming out. 
"Mariah read it, she surprisingly asked me to expand on some of the material, specifically about meeting up with Michael Jackson in Korea, and since he has now passed, divulging more of my amazing stories and experiences with Michael and the time I spent at Neverland in its heyday. The only thing she asked me to take out was one name, for security reasons; but she was gracious & extremely easy to deal with through the process. I just wanted to give her the space to read it in her own time and with starting a family, I can understand time constraints. I want to thank her for being supportive and offering positive feedback once she saw what it really was and how the press just took their own direction and assumed it would be a nasty tell-all before anyone actually saw it,”

"I think some of the media are actually pissed that it’s NOT a nasty tell-all!  Mariah’s great and one of the best singers who will ever take a stage. Following the birth of her twins, Mariah Carey talks parenthood, hubby Nick and that nude photo-shoot...

Proud parents Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have finally settled in at home with their beautiful twin babies Moroccan and Monroe after a dramatic few weeks following the birth of their first children together. The singer had to spend an extra two weeks in hospital after delivering the twins, who both weighed in at just under 6lb. So when she emerged in a black Rolls-Royce with her husband when they drove their bundles of joy home from the hospital for the first time, Mariah understandably had a look of relief on her face. 'I'm feeling so blessed,' she Tweeted after returning to her pad. 'I just finished singing to the babies (softly!).'

Here, Mariah opens up in her own words about becoming a mother, Nick's reaction to fatherhood and how she felt about her nude pregnancy photo-shoot...

I could not do the having a child thing half-heartedly...
I couldn't just be like: 'I'm having a child, yay, let me get a nanny so I can give her the baby - take the kid.' That doesn't work for me. I don't believe in that.

Being a mother is probably the hardest job in the world...
I feel like, in a lot of ways, children come into the world to teach us. It's going to be a delicate balance between raising them around glitz and glamour and keeping them grounded. One thing I'm sure of is that I'll be grateful for the twins every day, no matter what.

I felt very vulnerable about taking the nude pregnancy pictures...
But then I didn't want to miss this opportunity to document a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share that incredibly personal moment with my true fans.

Before now I'd never ever been to a baby shower...
My baby shower was my first one - it was so festive! Nick and I were so grateful to everyone who came to celebrate with us.

Nick is so excited to be a father...
He already has this natural talent with children - they take to him right away. He's so nurturing, loving and fun. He definitely will be a hands-on dad.

It was so much fun designing the twins' room...
I had such specific ideas I wanted implemented. I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cosy environment for the babies. Everything matches, but pieces are individualised to celebrate the twins as separate entities. I wanted to do more than cookie-cutter styles in blue and pink.

We need to have Mother's Day once a week...
It's hard to have kids in this world. I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who've had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples.

You've gotta take care of yourself...
You have to try and stay pretty, you know. My life is bizarrely healthy in some ways. I have to be overly aware of people holding the microphones. Singer turned into that know that if someone touches your microphone you have to sterilise it.

This is one of the few times in my career that I've actually taken it easy...
Well, sort of. I am looking forward to spending quality time with the babies and Nick, and that's our plan.

I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy...
It's been a long journey and it's been tough. But this is a whole new beginning and I'm beyond excited about it.

Ross, 44, admitted that he never intended to fulfill a promise to repay the Maywood investor with interest within 45 days, through his RDA Group company.

In fact, to make it appear the investment was secure, Ross employed an escrow agent who wouldn’t disburse the investor’s funds until Ross provided proof that at least $1 million in sponsorship money had been committed as part of the Fall 2008 concert series.

Ross didn’t raise a penny, but he did send several bogus letters to the escrow agent within three days after it was wired from a Maywood bank. One purportedly was from a law firm that made it appear that more than $10 million in sponsorship money had been committed, federal authorities said.

Once the money was released, Ross admitted, he went out and bought himself a new car, along with other personal items and services.

Ross conned the investor by saying he needed “to pay startup expenses” for the supposed 2008 concerts in the United Arab Emirates, U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said.

U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman credited special agents of the Secret Service‘s Newark field office with making the case, prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew E. Beck of Fishman’s Economic Crimes Unit.

It has been reported that Skull will begin touring in America for approximately a month including Sacramento, San Francisco, Miami, and Canada. In addition to America, Skull will also be performing in Jamaica. During his tour, Skull will be meeting up with diva Mariah Carey, talented vocalist and pianist Alicia Keys, and Stephen Marley to talk about future possibilities of working together.

Mariah Carey's brother, Morgan Carey, is said to have been responsible for Skull's concert tour possible. In addition, during Skull's military service, it has been said that Mariah Carey gave the reggae singer a call.

I know some of you wont be pleased with a new Nick article again, but hey, the only news we have from Mariah and/or the babies is through Nick.

Oh Nick,  you joked (or maybe not) but poor little Monroe makes worldwide lines with the diva think. 
During the interview he also says Mariah bought him cufflinks that say "Dad" and weird enough Perez and him both say Mariah and Nick started dating in  2007!!!

Perez Hilton: What’s it been like being a dad?
Nick Cannon: Man, it’s hard to leave the house honestly. I mean, as much as I love what I do and the hustle when I get home and I see those two little faces looking up at me that look like my face, it’s like, it’s unbelievable. It kind of gives you a whole new inspiration and whole new reason to kind of get out there and do it everyday.

Perez: What surprised you the most about the twins or having children?
Nick: The fact that they have personalities.

Perez: And they’re like four months old, three months, two months old?
Nick: One month.

Perez: One month wow. They already have personalities?
Nick: Yeah, personalities. And it’s crazy because you can see like my son is definitely more like me. He’s like chill, laid back –

Perez: At one month?
Nick: Yeah. But my daughter is, that’s her mothers child. Like she is like a diva. She sleeps like this with her hands. She’s like, when she wants something, she’s instantly crying letting you know likes she’s going to be a little handful.

Perez: Now you and Mariah have been together I think four years now?
Nick: Yeah, man, going on four years.

Perez: 2007, like April 2007 I remember when you started dating. Was it the kind of thing you’re just like immersed in each other like were you just –
Nick: Absolutely.

Perez: You saw each other every single day?
Nick: Well not — we didn’t see each other because you know I was in LA and she was in New York most of the time. But it was one of those things where we were inseparable to a point where when I’m — I always knew I was going to be in love with Mariah Carey.

Perez: Really?
Nick: She was my celebrity crush since I was a kid.

Perez: Really?
Nick: So I was like when I get the opportunity, I’m going to just let her know how I feel and just go hard, just — and I went hard and then from that point she connected and we –

Perez: She was ready.
Nick: Yeah. And it was just –

Perez: It was just like the right time.
Nick: When we weren’t there we were on the phone all the time. It was just like, it was real so –

Perez: You had long phone calls like old school?
Nick: Six hours on the phone. Like who do you talk to for six hours? What do you talk about for six hours? That’s like — it was like that junior high love.

Perez: Festive. That’s a very Mariah word.
Nick: We just like to have fun. Like outside of everything else, if we cant have a good time doing it, then why do it.
