Mariah’s rep Cindi Berger has confirmed to In Touch that the singer has chosen to leave the show, making her the second judge to depart after this season.

“The rest of this year is jam packed with Mariah putting the finishing touches on her much anticipated forthcoming album, headlining the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular  and appearing in Lee Daniel's The Butler, opening in August which boasts an all-star cast,” Berger tells In Touch. “Riding high on the massive success of her unprecedented multiplatform, her new single "#beautiful" (featuring Miguel),  she is embarking on a much anticipated world tour that kicks off this October in Asia.”

The Hot 100's Airplay Gainer award goes to Mariah Carey's "#Beautiful," featuring Miguel, which climbs 24-20 in its second week. The lead single from Carey's forthcoming 13th studio album coasts 44-28 on Radio Songs (42 million, up 33%) and debuts at No. 41 on Streaming Songs (1.5 million, up 223%), although it drops 10-15 on Digital Songs (97,000, down 14%). Carey sang the song as part of a medley of her hits on last Thursday's (16) "American Idol" season finale.

Good Morning America Summer Concert Series presents Mariah Carey
The "Good Morning America" Summer Concert Series kicks off Friday, May 24, with global superstar, Mariah Carey, live in concert in Central Park. The best-selling female artist of all time will perform her new single from her upcoming album.

Due to limited capacity, this concert is a free, ticketed event. You must show your printed Ticketmaster receipt to enter Central Park's Rumsey Playfield. Backpacks and bags are not permitted in the venue.

Tickets are free of charge. There is a maximum of four tickets allowed per request.

Concert doors open at 6 a.m. ET. The concert will air on "GMA" live from 8 to 9 a.m. ET on Friday, May 24.

The Summer Concert Series returns for the fifth year to the Rumsey Playfield in New York City's Central Park. The Rumsey Playfield is located right off the 5th Avenue and 72nd Street entrance to Central Park in New York City. (Click here to see a map).

Q: What upcoming projects can you share? Are you working with Britney Spears? Mariah Carey?

RJ: I was working with Britney actually at the end of the year.  She had me come on X-Factor show and do something with her, so we’ll see what happens if we get a chance to work together.  I am working with Mariah, I am working with Jennifer Lopez.  I just finished a couple songs with Jessie J over in London and I also wrote a couple of songs that are being considered for Rihanna’s new album, so there’s a lot of good stuff happening so we’ll see…I’m always busy, but it’s all good, never too busy for my baby.

Q: Can you speak about working with Mariah Carey in the studio on her upcoming album?

RJ: Yeah, Mariah’s great.  We had a chance to write together and it was really cool.  She’s a pro, she’s a real pro and relatable, too.  She has two children, two beautiful kids and we got a chance to really get to know her and Nick and the kids doing this project and they just bring that class act family and you know it’s good to have friends like that.

American Idol is offering fans an all-access, online VIP pass to the star-studded red carpet action prior to the Season 12 Finale tonight!

The 90-minute live stream, will be filmed on the red carpet at the Nokia Theater L.A. LIVE and will be hosted by Jim Cantiello, Jessica York and Season 10 fan-favorite Pia Toscano.

Bringing the excitement of the evening straight to viewers at home, the pre-show will feature interviews with the judges and Top 2 Finalists Candice Glover and Kree Harrison, a special duet from Season 10 finalists Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart, celebrity guests, show highlights, visits from former Idol contestants, reportedly including Adam Lambert and a look back at one of Idolsmost memorable seasons ever!

The Hot 100's highest debut belongs to Mariah Carey's "#Beautiful," featuring Miguel, which begins at No. 24. The track launched on Hot 100 Airplay at No. 44 last week with 31 million impressions after just two days of airplay, aided heavily on its first day (May 6) by coordinated airplay on Clear Channel Media and Entertainment stations. This week, with that hefty first day of spins now in the previous tracking period, "#Beautiful" maintains its No. 44 Hot 100 Airplay rank and 31 million in audience (up less than 1%). Following its first full week of sales, it enters Hot Digital Songs at No. 10 (114,000), marking her eighth top 10 on the tally and first since "Obsessed" reached No. 6 in 2009. "#Beautiful" falls shy of the Streaming Songs chart with 461,000 first-week streams.

Mariah Carey Planning a World Tour

On the heels of her buzzed-about new single with Miguel, "#Beautiful," a source tells Us Weekly that the singer is in the midst of planning a brand new world tour.

"Due to the smash success of '#Beautiful,'" fans are clamoring as Mariah makes plans for a world tour," the source explains to Us. So far, "#Beautiful" has hit number one in 25 countries and the top five in 45. (note: on iTunes)

The tour would be the Grammy winner's first global trek since 2004 (note: 2003), when she was on her Charmbracelet world tour. In 2010, she jet-set on her Angels Advocate tour, where she performed in the U.S., Egypt, Brazil and Singapore.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment launched Mariah Carey's new single, "#Beautiful," featuring Miguel with a unique, day-long world premiere event across more than 230 Clear Channel radio stations nationwide on Monday (5/6). 

Island Def Jam Music Group partnered with Clear Channel to introduce fans to the new Mariah Carey single by creating a world premiere event that leveraged Clear Channel's radio stations across five different formats and its relationship with listeners. Multi-platinum global superstar Mariah Carey caps her season on FOX’s American Idol with today’s world­wide launch of her new single, “#Beautiful” featuring Miguel.  “#Beautiful” was written and produced by Mariah and Miguel, and is the lead track from Mariah’s much-anticipated new album, due for release this summer on Island Def Jam.

On May 6 five-time GRAMMY winner Mariah Carey released "#Beautiful" featuring fellow GRAMMY winner Miguel, the lead track from her forthcoming album due later this year. Prior to the single's release, Carey participated in an exclusive interview with GRAMMY.com on the set of "American Idol" to discuss "#Beautiful" and collaborating with Miguel.

"The best part of making music, for me, is collaborating and working with new people and fresh sounds and all those things that gets people excited to continue in this business that we all love so much," said Carey. "The feedback that's been coming to us is astonishing. I feel like this is the first record I've ever released."

Considered the best-selling female artist to emerge in the '90s, Huntington, N.Y., native Carey rose to stardom on the strength of her five-octave range. Carey released her self-titled debut album in 1990, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned four No. 1 singles and earned her two GRAMMY Awards for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female for "Vision Of Love."

Carey has released more than 15 Top 10 albums, including Daydream (1995) and The Emancipation Of Mimi (2005), both of which peaked at No. 1 and earned GRAMMY nominations for Album Of The Year. With the release of 2008's E=MC2, Carey scored her 18th No. 1 hit with "Touch My Body," placing her second to the Beatles for the most chart-topping singles. The wait for Mariah Carey‘s highly anticipated track with Miguel, “#Beautiful,” is officially over.

The singer and American Idol judge phoned in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to chat about the hot new single and working with the Grammy-winning crooner, as well as how she used Idol finalists Candice, Kree, and Angie’s vocals as backup on another new track!

As for Miguel, Mariah says: “I’m a huge fan of his music and I think everybody is so blown away by him right now … We got together, he had starting writing this song with just the guitar riff… and I have to say this about him as a collaborator, sometimes when you haven’t worked with somebody you don’t know really what they do in the studio …and if they have the same kind of love for music that I have … and he’s the truth. We just wanted to do something different that has a texture that feels fresh.”

So how does Mariah’s hit-making process work?

“It depends on who I’m working with, but were talking if I go to ATL [Atlanta] and go to Southside studio to Jermaine Dupri, who I wrote ‘Always Be My Baby’ with…he literally has a club in his studio and a basketball court…let’s say I’m working with Jermaine, we may have an inspiration like, ‘This beat would be interesting’ or a throwback to this moment he will often say like, when I revealed ‘Touch My Body’ I wrote that with The-Dream, and Jermaine said, ‘I think we should go with that verse.’ And he was right because it went and was a nice hit.”

Mariah also revealed the wait for her album won’t be too long either. “Probably we’re talking about earlier than mid-summer, which is a lot of pressure on me because I want these last few records to be just as good as the first records I started.”

And she will have some special guest on her upcoming album, including the Idol finalists she’s been mentoring. “I was in the studio with Candice, Kree, and Angie last night because selfishly, I wanted to get some background vocals from them on another record as I did my mentoring moment…and just give them a glimpse…I said, ‘I’m wearing a totally different hat right now, this is me the producer, that goes quickly through the part but we have to be precise,’ but the girls only had a couple hours and I didn’t want to push them, but it was a great experience…so they did [backup] for a different song which I will not reveal the title yet.”

Speaking of Idol, Mariah will premiere the music video for “#Beautiful” on the show this coming Wednesday. The singer describes the video as “the antithesis of the person you see on American Idol … I was multitasking by editing the final bits with my editor and the girls got to see a bit of that and talk about how important it is to maintain some creative control from the beginning of your career … because a lot of artists think ‘I’m not allowed to do this. I’m not allowed to do that.’ It wasn’t until later … it’s not like I first started and got my record deal as a teenage girl and I think I can boss people around and be like, ‘Hey, wait I’m coming to fix that video!’ I didn’t even know about lighting darling, I didn’t even know we didn’t like bad lighting.”

Along with celebrating the release of a new single, Mariah also celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary with husband Nick Cannon at Disneyland, where they sealed the night with a kiss as fireworks went off. So how did they time that perfectly? Mariah joked: “Actually it just happened, nobody planned it. I think in Disneyland it just magically occurs.”

Mariah Carey Reveals 2-Year-Old Daughter Appears on New Album

Mariah Carey‘s daughter, Monroe, may only have just turned 2-years-old, but she’s already following in her songstress mom’s footsteps!

Mariah revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest her daughter’s vocals are featured on a track off her upcoming album, which is anticipated to drop midsummer.

”My little girl is going to be appearing on the album, I will say that. She can’t really put a complete sentence together … she was 1-years-old when she started … but she did a good job!”

Mariah Carey Negotiating for Big “American Idol” Finale Performance ?

It’s not completely a done deal, but I’m told this will happen: Mariah Carey will perform on the “American Idol” finale on May 16th. She will sing her brand new single called “#Beautiful.” (That’s  hashtag, if you were wondering.) I told you last night exclusively that Mariah’s video of “#Beautiful” will debut on this Wednesday’s “Idol.”

One thing still not certain: who will sing it with her? Miguel, who performs the duet on the single, is on tour and may not be able to do it. He’s got to be in Liverpool, England two days later to open for Alicia Keys. Sources say something very cool is in the works. (Nick Cannon, maybe? Nicki Minaj? Stay tuned.)

It does seem like with falling ratings and re-considerations, Mariah and “Idol” are making up instead of breaking up. Isn’t that swell? I do hope when she performs”#Beautiful” on “Idol,” Mariah sings a slightly longer version than the one being released this Monday to radio stations at 7am. It’s a great song and deserves a big finale. Carey will jump from the “Idol” finale to a special appearance on “Good Morning America” just eight days later on May 24th.

Did I tell you yesterday that “#Beautiful” reminds me of “Dreamlover,” Mariah’s 1993 smash? It’s got that feel. It’s also got a cool retro vibe. There’s some static in the background and it sounds like a record — a 45 rpm record– is playing.

Mariah Carey Exclusives: New Video Will Debut on “Idol,” New Album Coming, New Manager Hired

Mariah Carey runs to the rescue of “American Idol.” With ratings precariously low, and “The Voice” playing directly against it next Wednesday, “American Idol” needed something to give it a boost. That brings Mariah to the story. She’ll debut the new video for her new song, “Beautiful,” on the show on May 8th. “Beautiful” is a mid tempo pop song with an usually catchy and sophisticated melody. It’s co-written, sung and produced by newish sensation Miguel. I’ve heard “Beautiful” and it’s a hit. A real hit that fans will sing along with.

The rather short–about 3 minutes, 3 seconds– single opens with Miguel singing to an acoustic guitar. After the first verse and chorus, Mariah makes a spine-tingling entrance. I am told her album, still unnamed, is just in this vein– lots of great singing, very little singing, no hip hop, all songs with a capital S. My only peeve about “Beautiful” is that it’s too short– I think the album version should be longer.

And the album– it’s coming sometime between June 25th and July 7th, my sources say. First Island DefJam has to launch Kanye West’s new album, recorded in Paris, on June 18th. That’s confirmed also, but no title has been given. It should be called “Keeping Up with the Kardashians– Literally.”

And here’s another scoop: while we were sleeping, Mariah changed managers. She and Randy Jackson decided their schedules were too hectic. So Carey has signed with Red Light, the same place Steven Tyler just joined. Red Light is the brainchild of Corin Capshaw, the mastermind behind Dave Matthews. It’s a hot hot agency.

It was a storybook 5th anniversary – and happy 2nd birthday treat for their twins – as Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their vows at the Happiest Place on Earth, California's Disneyland, on Tuesday night.

All dressed up in matching prince and princess costumes, Carey and daughter Monroe were picked up in a horse-drawn Crystal Carriage from a Dream Suite inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, then taken to Main Street to meet Cannon and son Moroccan. Together the family proceeded to Sleeping Beauty Castle, for the vow renewals.

"Do you believe in fairy tales?" was the theme for the ceremony – which concluded with fireworks over the castle spires, a pyrotechnic display that reportedly came as a total surprise to Carey and the couple's 250 guests.

What followed was a reception in Fantasyland, deejayed by Cannon and accented by 15,000 flowers imported from South Africa, Holland and France and 10,000 crystals. Plus, guests enjoyed access to the Matterhorn Bobsleds, Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Adventures and the King Arthur Carousel, all of which were kept running.

Before the renewal of the vows, Moroccan and Monroe celebrated their birthdays with yet another famous couple: Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
